Ryuzo Akano - Founder&President

As Chief Technology Officer of Viacom International Japan, Akano defined product strategies and oversaw the digital media product development for all of Japan, focused in particular on the web and mobile markets. Previously, he served as Project Manager at AOL Japan, Inc., where he was solely responsible for a community-centered product. He lead product development and localization, which included integration of Match.com, Instant Messenger, chat, and blogs.

Tatsuya Takiguchi - Co-Founder&President

Takiguchi brings more than ten years of digital media experience to AKARAG. He worked in the Life Insurance industry as a web technology specialist, and then served as Chief Information Officer at an industry-leading B2B marketing firm. He also served as Community Manager at AOL Japan, Inc., where he was responsible for content development and publishing.

Mappappa is an innovative product where internet users can upload photos and placing push-pins anywhere within the photos to give them better expressions of Internet communication. You can use it for various purposes, placing it in auction sites to give items better explanation, placing push-pins on the photo with your friends to celebrate your wedding ceremony, and lots of more ideas can be freely expressed with the product. Mappappa uses Google Maps API to give users easy-to-use experience for increasing the productivity of people’s ideas.
